SUMMER Solstice

Summer Solstice brings about the summer season, starting between June 20th - 22nd.

For me and my work, it's...

big hot sunny days, harvesting poppy heads for teapots, sipping floral teas to cool down...

creekside picnics, big blooming flowers, full gardens with bees and lots of produce, lush green ferns and trees...

the sound of cicadas orchestrating a symphony, lightening bugs and fireflies, bees filling hives, butterflies fluttering around...

birds flying while singing "it's summer time!" with the littles...

It's abundance at it's finest!

In this season I harvest flowers and plants to dry for my mullein torches, my art, and my MO Green Salve.

I use my home grown plants as well as plants from my local area here in Asheville, North Carolina.

These offerings remind me of Summer Solstice, abundance, and the summer season.
